Tom and his family moved to Lander from New Orleans where he was a Pediatric Emergency Room physician, treating the most urgent illnesses and injuries. He has seen about every illness and injury that presents to an emergency room. Ask him about the the alligator story. Tom and his family went through Katrina, an experience that has made him appreciate the beautiful mountain valley of Fremont County. He has many harrowing stories to tell. Tom is the President of the Fremont County Medical Society and in that capacity serves on the State Board of the Medical Society. He enjoys all aspects of Pediatric care.
If you Google Tom Stamps, you may find he comes up for his musical talents as a performer in New Orleans. He brings those same talents to Fremont County where he performs with a band doing vocals and drums and occasionally his Ukulele. Tom is the predictable happy face in the clinic who occasionally shows up in a space suit on Halloween or is seen singing as he goes down the hall.
